New International Sales Director at Innovason

Extensive experience in the professional audio industry.

Innovason, French manufacturer of digital live mixing consoles, have appointed Marcel-Raphael Babazadeh to the position of International Sales Director, starting his new responsibility in March 2010. “Marcel-Raphael Babazadeh has extensive experience in audio hardware sales; his commercial success with leading companies in our industry provides impressive evidence of this”, says Philipp Lawo, CEO of the Lawo Group, which holds the majority of shares in Innovason. “Particularly his excellent relationship with users, pre and post sales support, and his thorough product knowledge, typify Mr Babazadeh.”

Prior to taking over the Innovason Sales Department, Babazadeh was Sales Director for digital mixing consoles in the European and South American markets, as well as Sales Tonmeister for an internationally well-known company in the professional audio industry. As a producer and Tonmeister he has published a large number of compact discs for various labels, and has worked for a number of radio stations.

32-year-old Babazadeh completed his studies, achieving the well-respected Tonmeister award, at the University for Music in Detmold. A musician from an early age, he had already been involved in music and audio. “I am really looking forward to the new challenges at Innovason”, concludes Babazadeh.
